Send and Receive + BIM Server Backups

This is less of a tip and more of a warning! In order to ensure the BIM Server is actually creating its scheduled backups we need to send changes to the server. Because teamwork files work on a system of local data and server data, the server must receive changes to know the file needs to be backed up.

I recommend revising your keyboard shortcuts to change Command + S to send/receive rather than save. This means that working in a PLN or PLA file you loose the shortcut, but teamwork files do not benefit from a save. It should be routine to send and receive at least once per hour to both coordinate with other team members and to ensure the file is properly secured and saved.

Also related, please make sure you are releasing all before the end of the day. Even if you are the only team member making changes to the teamwork file, a release all will allow access by other users or other work stations the next day.
